1st Day of Blogging February 11, 2008

Well I am finally entering the world of blogging and seeing where it takes me and my art. I started a company called Momento in 2003, 5 years ago to help people tell their story by preserving memories in a beautiful way which you can live with everyday in your home. I put your treasured photos and words and poetry on pillows, custom wall hangings and more. I also do fine art for gallery shows, many times linked to important social causes, including homelessness and the need for affordable housing, domestic violence and the need for peace. My art has had some exposure at many interesting shows and venues. I also teach art. And I am a mom of 3. So I am busy, but try to live creatively everyday! I am hoping this blog will connect me to people with similar interests and that as I blog , I will show gratitude for the beauty of each day, even if it is not formally working in the studio, because creativity is found everywhere, an all of our interactions with people, nature and in our own introspection.
